A new part of the famous real-time strategy.
Many hoped that diplomats would be able to put an end to the war, but differences of opinion, as well as the weakness of the governing factions, led to the disintegration of the participating groups.
The loyalists of the Emergency Trade Committee adopted a policy of isolation, deciding to focus on strengthening the defense in the hope of waiting out the rest of the war. The Rebels, on the other hand, are more militant, believing that peace must be achieved by defeating all enemies, especially the xenos.
For the first time in history, the Advent is divided by war. The Loyalists seek revenge on the traders and assimilate everyone else, while other members of the Advent believe that a corrupting influence from within has turned the civilization away from its true purpose.
The rift in the Vasari Empire is less pronounced, but no less cruel to its people. The Vasari are desperate to occupy new regions of space, and the Loyalist faction, rejecting all cooperation, is willing to do anything to obtain the necessary resources. The Rebel faction, on the other hand, recognizes the need to work together with other races, and believes that without them there is no escape from the advancing enemy. Fight for galactic domination in Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, a standalone 4X RTS that combines the tactical elements of RTS with the depth of 4X games.
